The commercial base includes customers from well-known brands such as Matrix Telecommunications, Global Crossing SMB Group, Excel Telecommunications and Vartec and AmericaTel. By mid-2013, all of these brands, their product portfolio, operational excellence, deep industry relationships and telecom leadership were gathered under the Impact Telecom umbrella.

National Channel Sales Director
With more than 25 years of channel partner sales experience including holding executive positions at Broadsmart, Windstream and Xspedius, Thomas is uniquely qualified to lead the Impact Telecom Partner Channel.
Thomas joined Impact Telecom in 2016 to head up the Commercial Channel Partner Program as National Channel Sales Director. In this role, he will offer a strong support platform to agents and guide Impact’s channel strategy as the company continues to expand its portfolio of commercial products and services.
Thomas has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He is based in the Dallas, TX office.
Senior Vice President, Commercial Services
Don Kinison is a highly accomplished sales and business development executive with more than 19 years of telecommunications experience managing sales and technology teams at ANPI, Cbeyond, CellularOne and Time Warner. Throughout his career Don has created and implemented high-impact sales strategies and revenue-generating initiatives to drive customer acquisitions and open new markets.
Don joined Impact Telecom in 2014 to lead the commercial services team, including the management of our small business and enterprise customers as well as Impact’s growing partner program. In previous positions Don was responsible for the development and management of business solutions channels and direct sales. He also spent eight years in various business development and executive roles at Cbeyond Inc. where he oversaw sales and operations in the southern region, managed 240 employees, and successfully launched two new markets. During his tenure, revenue grew to nearly $500 million.
Don has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He is based in the Dallas, TX office.
Chief Operations Officer
Chuck Griffin has held telecommunications executive leadership roles spanning more than 20 years at Impact Telecom, ICG, @Link Communications and Idigi Communications.
Chuck has built and managed channel programs in the retail and wholesale telecom sectors for almost two decades. He built the ICG channel program in 2001 and grew it to more than 600 national and master agents in 24 markets in less than three years. This included partner program features including national recruiting, product development, partner compensation, program tier development, master agent strategy, partner training, and recognition programs.
His partner channel success is based on senior leadership and support combined with an understanding of the challenges in creating long lasting and successful partner programs. Chuck and the Impact Telecom Partner channel take pride in delivering excellence in execution – a corporate-wide commitment to deliver products and services to our customers at rates that makes sense.
